2025 SLOCCW Top Hand Award Winners

At this year’s fashion show our unit gave out its first “Top Hand” Awards. The Top Hand Award is given to those who have made significant contributions to the unit, it’s fundraisers, programs, and to the overall benefit of the industry. Tanna (left) and Reese (right) Tartaglia took home this year’s awards. Among some of our first young CattleWomen, Reese and Tanna have been extensively involved in helping the unit raise money for scholarships and beef promotion for years. Congrats ladies!

CattleWomen Promote Beef on K-JUG!

A tremendous thank you to KJUG for giving us a radio spot on the "Tom and Becky Show!"  Thank you Corryn La Rue for arranging this terrific opportunity to reach over 4,000 listeners during our 5 minute talk about ranchers and the benefits of beef. Corryn LaRue had done an internship with KJUG  and we are thankful that she was able to schedule this special day. This year we focused on talking to the listeners about the many byproducts that beef provides. Tom and Becky are amazing and made the visit  fun and enjoyable.  We could not be more appreciative and humbled by this opportunity.
