CattleWomen for a Cause at the 2025 Fashion Show
SLO CattleWomen and guests spearheaded an effort at the fashion show that collected THREE (yes 3) car loads of brand new items for the ECHO shelter in Atascadero and the Prado Warming Center in San Luis Obispo. Wendy Lewis, President/CEO of ECHO (left) met (from left to right) 2nd VPs Lesa John, Vicki Janssen & Nicole Nicholson to deliver half of the items. The other half of the donations Prado the day after the fashion show. We truly appreciate the generosity of this year’s fashion show guests. Their contributions made this effort a HUGE success!
2025 SLOCCW Top Hand Award Winners
At this year’s fashion show our unit gave out its first “Top Hand” Awards. The Top Hand Award is given to those who have made significant contributions to the unit, it’s fundraisers, programs, and to the overall benefit of the industry. Tanna (left) and Reese (right) Tartaglia took home this year’s awards. Among some of our first young CattleWomen, Reese and Tanna have been extensively involved in helping the unit raise money for scholarships and beef promotion for years. Congrats ladies!
